MarketingStride

Legal / Customer Data

This page provides a shorter customer-facing summary of how MarketingStride handles customer data, ownership, retention, and privacy support boundaries.

It is designed as a companion to the full Privacy Policy rather than a replacement for it.

Privacy and Customer Data

MarketingStride evaluates publicly accessible website content and content intentionally submitted by customers. Customers retain ownership of their content and information, while MarketingStride provides the software, analysis, reporting, and generated customer artifacts that support the service.

MarketingStride handles the information needed to create accounts, associate properties and evaluations to the right customer, provide reports and generated outputs, support billing, preserve continuity over time, and respond to support requests. Depending on how the service is used, that may include account information, property and domain context, audit history, findings, scores, comparisons, generated artifacts, invoices, support context, and limited operational artifacts used for troubleshooting and continuity.

MarketingStride does not sell customer data and does not share one customer's evaluations or account information with other customers. MarketingStride uses a limited set of service providers to operate hosting, authentication, billing, security, and related operational workflows.

Current approved public provider categories include:

  • Supabase for application database and authentication functions
  • Vercel for hosting and application delivery
  • Stripe for payment processing, subscription, invoice, and related billing functions
  • Cloudflare Turnstile for account-access abuse prevention
  • Better Stack for uptime and operational monitoring

MarketingStride may update this list as the service evolves. Public provider wording remains intentionally conservative and may be revised when provider scope or approved disclosure boundaries change.

Retention follows MarketingStride's account-lifecycle policy. Active customer history remains available while an account remains active. Discovery data is retained for 90 days after purchase unless the customer converts through a qualifying commercial product. After subscription expiration, customer analytical history is retained for 18 months, while generated and operational artifacts are retained for 6 months. Verified deletion requests are targeted for processing within 30 days, subject to legal, contractual, fraud, security, and regulatory exceptions.

Stripe processes payments and MarketingStride uses provider-backed account billing surfaces where available.
