Crawler Information
MarketingStrideBot
MarketingStride helps customers evaluate how clearly their website content can be interpreted, answered, and reported on. MarketingStrideBot is the public identifier MarketingStride uses for authorized automated evaluations of website content.
Public user-agent:
MarketingStrideBot/1.0 (+https://marketingstride.com/crawler-info)What MarketingStrideBot Does
MarketingStrideBot helps MarketingStride evaluate supported website content for clarity, answerability, reporting, and related product outputs requested by a customer or authorized user.
It is intended to identify MarketingStride activity in website logs and security tooling. The user-agent is an identifier, not an authentication mechanism.
What It Evaluates
- Publicly accessible website pages included in an authorized evaluation.
- Page content, metadata, links, and supported structured-data signals.
- Access and response signals needed to explain whether a page could be evaluated.
What It Does Not Do
- It does not require source-code access, CMS access, passwords, or private API keys.
- It does not bypass customer authorization, private systems, paywalls, or login-only areas.
- It does not guarantee ranking, traffic, or AI visibility outcomes.
- It does not bypass WAF rules, bot-management tools, security controls, or access restrictions.
- It does not provide a static IP allowlisting guarantee at launch.
Robots.txt And Request Behavior
MarketingStride retrieves robots.txt information and uses sitemap declarations where supported. MarketingStride's robots policy is governed by a hybrid model: public wording should not be interpreted as a blanket promise that every robots directive, challenge, or private-access rule is handled identically in every context.
MarketingStride uses bounded request behavior, including timeout, redirect, retry, and per-host pacing controls. Exact implementation details may vary by evaluation path and should not be treated as customer-configurable crawl-rate guarantees.
MarketingStride may use browser-compatible request profiles for compatibility with modern websites. Those profiles are not public allowlisting commitments and should not be treated as a replacement for the public MarketingStrideBot identity.
Static IP And Allowlisting
MarketingStride does not currently offer static IP allowlisting as a standard launch feature and does not publish static IP ranges. Enterprise allowlisting and dedicated egress options are tracked as future procurement-readiness capabilities.
